Manav Kalyan Yojana Objective 

During the coronavirus lockdown, poor-class people were adversely affected. Keeping this problem in mind the government of Gujarat has started Manav Garima Yojana. The main objective of Manav Garima Yojana is to provide employment to the beneficiaries of this scheme by encouraging entrepreneurship. With the successful implementation of this scheme, the economical status of the state will also get improved. Manav Garima Yojana will also reduce the unemployment rate in the state.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria while applying for the scheme:-

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Gujarat state
• An applicant must be schedule caste category member
• The applicant must belong to below the poverty line category
• The annual family income of the applicants must be less than-
  • Rs. 1,20,000/- for rural
  • Rs. 1,50,000/- for urban
